When are the Theta Centaurids visible?
The Theta Centaurid Meteor Shower is a relatively weak meteor shower from January 23 to March 12. Its peak is on February 10, when roughly four meteorites an hour become visible. This meteor shower is best viewed in the southern hemisphere.
It occurs, and peaks, within days of the Alpha Centaurids. Its meteors are equally fast at 60 kilometers / hour.
